“ We are so lucky to have one of Best BBQ places around. Staff are friendly, take out orders are filled. We typically order takeout, but have taken friends and out to eat there. ”
“ We arrived shortly after 7pm on a Friday night and even though they were busy we were able to be seated quickly. Smoked is always a sure bet! I couldn't decide what to have so I closed my eyes and randomly chose something..I had their WiseGuy and my wife loves their Longhorn! It was bright and they had the KU game on! A perfect date night. “ I went to Ottawa to meet family for lunch at smoked creations a couple days ago. Our server was fabulous! She was very sweet with my wild nephews. The food was good. My sister & I split the bbq burrito & got a side of Cajun fries. We also started with the fried pickle chips, but it was a very small basket of pickles for the price. The restaurant itself is laid back & welcoming. ”

“ Amazing menu and service. We were in town for an Ottawa sporting event and were blown away by the quality of everything we experienced. (Side note: we've now been coming here once or twice a year for four years and I just realized this review was not complete). Come in on the weekend for the burnt ends. Realize the portions are HUGE! Decent bar and great if you're just drinking beer. My Jack and Diet(s) always hit the spot. It will look really busy because of the full parking lot. Don't worry - they have plenty of seating and quick service. ”
“ We stayed in Ottawa and this restaurant was highly recommended. We were sat immediately and our server was very attentive. She explained the specials and other questions we had on the menu. Started w beer and appetizer - Mac and cheese bites. Beer was cold and Mac and cheese bites were ok. I only tried one and the others w me had the rest. I saved room for the special and glad i did as ir was massive. It was a burger with brisket and i asked for the hot bbq sauce which complemented it well. The baked potato salad was really good and i took it to go and finished it later. We had a luncheon the same day and used them to cater it and the baked beans were probably the best i have ever had. I will have to return and would have the baked potato salad and beans again. I liked the brisket i am just from Texas and used to a different type. ”

“ While driving through town on the way to Kansas City, I needed to eat. Wow! This place is cool. It sits in the outskirts. It was packed at 1pm on a Monday. The food was out of this world. Very unusual menu. I settled on the Cuban sandwich. It was HUGE. The smoke pork and ham were amazing. Don't skip on the fresh cut French fries. A MUST! ”
